Memorial Day Weekend is here! A time certainly for family and food, but also an important time to pause and reflect on those who have died while serving in uniform in the protection of our country.

If you can, I’d encourage you to join the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department, Laurel Rescue Squad, American Legion, and Laurel Police Department this Sunday, May 24 for a memorial wreath laying at each of the memorials at Ivy Hill Cemetery with a short service to follow. It’ll be a great way join with our community to mark the true meaning of the day.

The wreath laying begins at 10:45 a.m. and additional details can be found in the graphic below.
